You’ll meet the TravelerWe Ladakh Expert Group Leader, who will guide you through the basic set of safety rules and brief you about the journey ahead. Have an easy day today. We recommend avoiding liquor today and just prepping your body for the expedition.

Today you’ll receive your bikes and all your backup vehicles & mechanic will be ready too! Today, we’ll explore the majestic views and the beautiful land of Leh, but make sure to have a fulfilling breakfast to keep you up and about through the day! We’ll head out to visit the famous ‘Hall of Fame’, followed by Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and will end the day on a soothing note by gazing at the Sangam (confluence) of Zanskar and Indus rivers, and Shanti Stupa. After a day of exploration, we’ll come back to our stay. You can explore Leh market in evening if time permits on your own.

Our first spot will be South Pullu, where we’ ll encounter an army checkpost, and some formalities will take approximately 10-minutes to pass through it. Now we are all set to witness the magnetic pull of the long, never-ending roads which will take us to Khardungla Pass: one of the highest motorable roads situated at 18,400 feet. We’ll then head towards North Pullu and will have lunch there. After this, we’ll dwell in the spiritual air of Diskit Monastery. It belongs to the 14th century and is the largest and oldest in the Nubra Valley. The famous Buddha statue is built on the top of this Monastery which was inaugurated by HH Dalai Lama. Soak it all in and then head to a day full of activities- Dunes of Nubra Valley, where ATV rides are hosted and double-humped camel rides as well. Now pack your bags of memory from Nubra Valley and end your day with a tempting dinner and overnight stay.

Turtuk, which was ‘recaptured’ by India from Pakistan in 1971. You can interact with the locals here and have a beautiful storytelling session about the history of this place. The other optional sites are the Turtuk waterfall and the Turtuk museum. You can also witness the K2 peak from here. After a day of exchanging stories, exploring the history and enjoying some apricots, we’ ll head back to our property in Nubra and call it a day!

After breakfast, we'll leave our stay and take our first halt at Tangtse, and by 3-4 PM, we’ll reach Pangong Lake. The Pangong Lake, which, by the way, reflects 7 colours at all times, is the highlight of the day! Here, you can also get your pictures clicked at the famous 3 idiot chair spot and enjoy the breezy atmosphere of the lake. The day ends here, and we’ll head back to our stay in Pangong and can go off to bed after a brief stargazing adventure.

We’ll leave from our stay at around 11 am for Leh and will catch a glimpse of ‘Pangong Lake’ first thing in the morning! This majestic view is the perfect ‘Good Morning’ that you deserve! Now we will ride back to Leh, and our first halt will be Changla Pass (the 3rd highest Pass), where we’ll have our lunch. The ride is fullof picturesque landscapes and will definitely be a memory engraved forever! From here, we’ll visit the Ranch School followed by Thikshey Monastery and Shey Monastery (if time allows). We’ll reach our stay, have dinner, take some rest and reminisce about the wonderful trip that it has been!
