Our first spot will be South Pullu, where weโll encounter an army check post, and some formalities will take approximately 10-minutes to pass through it.
Now we are all set to witness the magnetic pull of the long, never-ending roads which will take us to Khardung La: one of the highest motorable roads situated at 18,400 feet. Weโll then head towards North Pullu and will have lunch there.
After this, weโll dwell in the spiritual air of Diskit Monastery: It belongs to the 14th century and is the largest and oldest in the Nubra Valley. The famous Buddha statue is built on the top of this Monastery which was inaugurated by HH Dalai Lama.
Soak it all in and then head to a day full of activities- Dunes of Nubra Valley, where ATV rides are hosted and double-humped camel rides as well.
Now pack your bags of memory from Nubra Valley and end your day with a tempting dinner and overnight stay.
